Capital Port Louis has sites such as the Champs de Mars horse track, Eureka plantation house and 18th-century Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam Botanical Gardens.
Itinerary
Mauritius is more than just an island. It has a rich colonial history, a unique biodiversity and gorgeous, gorgeous weather. This is apart from the fact that it is blessed with an array of stunning beaches, spectacular coastline and teeming coral reefs. Mauritius has every creature comfort that a traveler wants, yet it retains its off-the-beaten-track appeal. Upon arrival in Mauritius, you will be welcomed by our representative who will escort you to your hotel. Check-in, relax and spend the rest of the day at leisure. Dinner will be served in one of the restaurants at the hotel. After dinner, retire to your room for an overnight stay.
Mauritius is referred to as ‘Heaven on earth’. And after breakfast, you would see what this magical place has in store by going on Ile Aux Cerf Tour. A great escape from the busy chaotic city life is a visit to the Ile Aux Cerfs Island.It is one of the most popular islands in Mauritius. Here, you would feast your eyes on the emerald green lagoons and walk on the white patch of sand as the winds and the waves calm you down. The island also offers an opportunity to have some fun and enjoy some exhilarating water activities such as parasailing,tube ride, speedboat rides, flying fish, and banana boats among others. You would also walk the bottom of the sea, with an Undersea Walk. This activity is an ultimate experience, as you walk on the seabed and enjoy the underwater world in a safe and secure manner. Here, you can get up-close and personal with the marine life. Later, you would return to the hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.
Today proceed to watch dolphins. The West coast of Mauritius is famous for its Dolphins. Have a trip to watch the wonderful Dolphins of Mauritius. The Mauritian West Coast is now worldwide known as a Sanctuary for Dolphins. The Bottle-nose or Tursiop Truncatus can be seen in early morning playing and relaxing in small bays along our coast: Point Moyenne, Tamarin Bay or Black River Bay.The journey starts at 07 00 at the Fish Landing Station of Flic en Flac. (Beach in between Klondike and Villa Caroline hotels).Welcome & Briefing-Your Crew will start with a Briefing regarding the boat’s specification, the safety precautions, itinerary and other information relative to the Dolphins. The two hours you will be spending with us, will mainly consist of finding the dolphins and observing those wonderful mammals in their natural habitat. After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, you would be picked-up from the hotel’s lobby for a full-day sightseeing of the Northern Island on a seat-in-coach basis. During the excursion, you would be visiting the capital city of Port Louis and the French colonial buildings that dates back to 1738. Some of the other places you would be visiting might seem familiar as many Bollywood movies have been shot at these places like Ford Adelaide (Garam Masala), Caudan Waterfront (Kuch Kuch Hota Hai), the Cap Malheureux Church (36 China Town) and Marie Reine Da La Paix (No Entry). After taking in the sights, you would get the chance to indulge yourself in shopping at the Jumbo Shopping Mall.

Another unique experience on the islands is a visit to the Casela Bird Park. The Park allows you to a Walk with Lions (at your own expense). This once-in-a-lifetime opportunity is an exciting way to spend your time in Mauritius. The walk is an hour-long exercise, where you would spend time with the lions under proper guidance and supervision of experts.
After enjoying the delicious breakfast, you would be picked up from the hotel’s lobby for a full-day South Island tour on a seat-in-coach basis. During the excursion, you would visit the extinct volcano of Trou aux Cerfs, followed by a visit to the Ganga Talao or Grand Bassin - a sacred Hindu temple and a holy lake in the crater of another extinct volcano. You would also visit the Coloured Earth Valley, a must-see Mauritian wonder. At the valley, the ground is naturally made up of different colored soil. Another charming addition to the excursion is the mini waterfalls, which add to the beauty of the island. After a full day of sight-seeing, you would return to the hotel for dinner and a comfortable overnight stay.
